Nash Academy
Located in New Jersey, the fully accredited Nash Academy was opened by dog groomer and stylist John Nash in 1979. Since then, the award-winning canine stylist has expanded his services to include an additional dog grooming Internet school in Lexington, Kentucky, and an exchange program with the KK Grooming School in Frankfurt, Germany. All dog grooming courses offered by Nash Academy were written by John Nash himself and are available for study on the site of the facilities, and online courses are offered to correspondence students, as well. As of April 2010, Nash Academy offers 15 individual courses for $500 each. Students who choose the full diploma program receive a discount and may complete all 15 courses for $5,400.

The JKL online school of dog grooming offers a 400-hour academic course of correspondence study in which students can learn at their own pace from the comfort of home. JKL offers diploma and certification programs in dog grooming.
